Methodology, data sources and licenses
We add up num_changes for each StreetComplete:quest_type in the OSM changeset dump. This follows the StreetComplete statistics service method: object edits serve as an estimate of quests solved. A changeset can contain several answers; one answer can change several objects. Reverts add further edits. These figures therefore do not give an exact count of quest answers.
created_by=StreetComplete … and StreetComplete_ee … distinguish the apps. Combined adds both together. Overlay contributions are included and use square icons. Other edits such as TagEdit and AddNode have separate labels. Unknown or historical types retain their original IDs.
Source: OSM changeset planet, usually published weekly. The data timestamp is the latest fully processed state of the official minute changeset updates, which supplement the weekly dump.
Periods use UTC and the creation date of each changeset. The weekly window covers the seven days before the publication of the current dump. It remains unchanged until the next dump. Months and years begin on their first day at 00:00 UTC. The specific periods are set when the dump is processed. Figures cover only the stated data timestamp and are updated when the data is processed again.

For questions that depend on the object, all available German variants are listed. Missing historical questions fall back to the type label.
Contributors are shown without usernames by default. Their country is estimated from their main mapping area in StreetComplete/SCEE changesets: the midpoint of compact changeset bounding boxes, weighted by object edits. A country is assigned only if it accounts for more than 50% of all recorded edits by that person; unassigned areas count towards this threshold. This is an approximate mapping-area assignment. After signing in, contributors can select their country and explicitly consent to showing their name, or withdraw that consent.

Quest icons are round; overlay icons are square. Names and profile pages are published only with explicit consent. Consent and country changes take effect the next time the site is generated; previously downloaded copies remain unchanged.
